The quality is nice so if exact match isn't an issue for you, this is a great buy. I've used it to embroider baby bibs, blankets, and even tiny shirts and it washes very well. I usually use and still like DMC floss because it is so available and I do like it. But a friend recommended this because she thinks it has a bit more sheen and silken feel. Because hand embroidery is a personal investment, I think this thread is worth the extra effort and tiny extra expense to obtain.
