This is a VERY good value. I saw they were 5000 yards apiece, but I didn't realize just how large these spools would be. These will last me a VERY long time!! Beautiful, bright color and fast shipping.

I purchased these for my Brother PE770 machine. They are VERY large spools. I recommend a cone holder with an arm so you don't have to respool. I also recommend a netting for the cone because the thread unravels quickly while working. But other than that it stitches up beautifully! VERY HAPPY and a great value!

This thread is very strong, and on a very large cone. You will need a large cone holder, and some type of thread control (i.e. netting). If this thread becomes tangled the needle will break before the thread does (don't ask me how I know) It is also a very fine thread. I have used it for some decorative stitches and the result was really dramatic. Because it is so fine it works well as a fill color in machine embroidery. I did have trouble using my automatic threader on my machine with this thread, because it has a stiffness to it, it doesn't form a small enough loop to go through the eye of the needle, but because of this stiffness it is easy to hand thread the needle. I am really pleased with this purchase.

This is labeled as Anchor floss but it is manufactured in India and the colors are a not an exact match to the Anchor floss manufactured in Germany and distributed in American needlework stores. The quality is nice so if exact match isn't an issue for you, this is a great buy.

I am delighted with this embroidery floss. It makes even the satin stitch live up to the name. I've used it to embroider baby bibs, blankets, and even tiny shirts and it washes very well. I usually use and still like DMC floss because it is so available and I do like it. But a friend recommended this because she thinks it has a bit more sheen and silken feel. Because hand embroidery is a personal investment, I think this thread is worth the extra effort and tiny extra expense to obtain.

I was delighted with the purchase, get 100 skeins of different colors, beautiful and bright. The yarn holds its shape during embroidery (not opaque, or fray) and wash the work does not lose color. I think they are a good investment.
